The role of Pastry Head Chef would suit a strong all rounder who is confident with chatting to clients and serving food. The ideal candidate will have a 4* / 5* hotel background or have high volume restaurant buffet experience. As Pastry Head Chef , you will be able to cook a variety of pastries, cuisines and must be very personable and well presented.

This is a fine dining role and would suite a Pastry Head Chef with experience in fine dining. You will be working from Monday to Friday.

“Le Bistrot” is a cafe / restaurant serving good quality, freshly made food sourced from local producers.

The Chef role will be to prepare sandwiches and mainly salads to a consistently high standard.

Duties include the smooth running of the kitchen, orders, salad preparation and cleaning.

French cuisine knowledge and french speaking is a plus (but not essential).

Salary: £8.00 gross per hour.

As a Chef Manager, you will be fully responsible for all aspects of the catering department, food production and all company bookwork. This is a very diverse role and not a job for the faint-hearted! The ideal Chef Manager will be a switched on operator and a highly skilled Chef. You must have exception inter-personal, organizational and management skills, able to motivate and lead a team. The role of Chef Manager requires a candidate who is financially astute and able to “think outside of the box”.

This is a hands-on role and would require equal amounts of time FOH and in the kitchen. It is preferable to have held a similar position in a high profile unit with a fresh food policy. The ability to work under pressure, work to budget and maintain a great attitude are all part of the job!!!

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head Chef who is able to create innovative menus for this café-style operation and manage a team of 4 staff members. You will be organized with exception inter-personal skills and be able to work under pressure. COUTURE is also looking at developing the events side of the business so experience in this sector is an advantage. A positive attitude, lots of enthusiasm and a sense of humour will ensure that you fit in with our dynamic company.

The role involves working 5/7 days but the venue is open between 8.30am with food available until 5pm.

Flexibility is required for evening functions.

Salary Offered: £25,000
